The reasons I had to study the pitcher plants
of Vietnam and the few general things we know about the Nepenthes species of
this Country, like their problematic taxonomy and the difficulties we have to
study these plants in their natural habitat to better understand their ecology,
are more or less the same you can find in the first three chapters of Nepenthes
of Thailand. So I'll try to list in this section only what's peculiar of
...home of the true N. thorelii, whatever it is...!
